As parents, we want our children to have the best of everything and not struggle to get the things they want. We want them to be happy. However, when we prevent them from experiencing difficult situations, lock them in a bubble, and provide everything to them without any effort on their part, we keep them from growing and maturing as they should. They do not develop the necessary skills they need to survive.
When children find everything easily and without any effort, they grow up with the wrong idea that everything they want, they can have without work or exertion on their part. As a result, they do not know the importance of work, perseverance. They do not have the necessary skills to overcome falls. Even the ability to acquire new knowledge is affected.
In fact, according to their age and development, delegating small functions to children will allow each completed task to develop and strengthen skills necessary for a happy life, which is what all parents hope to provide their children. - A dry-erase board with the tasks children must do

ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT
For teaching kids independence when each activity is carried out, the children will paste a happy little toad on the board. At the end of the week, you will count the little frogs and reward children in another way; for example, it could be with an ice cream.
Step 1:
The first activity to do with children, so that it is the first task of the day completed and motivates them to continue doing tasks, is to make their bed.
Step 2:
After making their bed and taking a bath, children can comb their hair.
Step 3:
The next task can be to read a book. It does not matter if children still do not know all the words; they can also read the images, and at the same time, create the habit.
Step 4:
Finally, children can do household chores. If they do not attend school yet, they can do an activity proposed by their parents or caregivers.

Parents can use strategies like play a game or sing a song to prevent children from rejecting doing the task and motivate them to help. In this way, children will carry out a fun activity suitable for their development and abilities.
CHANGES FOR CHILDREN OVER 6 YEARS OLD
You can do this teaching kids independence activity with older children. However, to increase the difficulty level, you can progressively include some other activities like washing the dishes, taking the dog for a walk, etc., always under adult surveillance. In this way, children will carry out a preschool activity appropriate to their development and abilities.
