Going out with a baby? Make sure you have baby essentials.

If a mother were a movie character, she would be James Bond, because she must always be on guard and be prepared to handle any situation and the turns they may take. Do you know what to pack in a diaper bag? Here are some “must-have items for mother’s bag” that every 007 needs.

What to Pack in a Diaper Bag?

1. “Magic three” – money, a phone, and a house key.

As a 21st century woman, you must have a smartphone and a Pay Pass, because it is the easiest and the most convenient way of paying. Basically, you have to remember always to take your phone and a house key in your diaper bag. If you think there is a chance you might forget these first-aid tools, then put a reminder somewhere near the door.

2. Wet wipes

Wet wipes are an ultimate weapon against small stains, little troubles, dirty hands, face, toys, and even wounds. Therefore, always keep a small pack of them in your diaper bag.

3. Extra things for a diaper change

If you are leaving home for a while, be sure to take disposable diapers and wipes with you. You never know when your baby might “surprise” you. These are must-haves in your diaper bag.

4. Water and a snack

Hunger is very unpredictable. For this reason, always have a bottle of water with you, in case a little one is thirsty. You can have a simple plastic bottle or pour it into a metallic/glass bottle, as you wish. Also, have some cookies, fruits, dried fruits, or crackers in your diaper bag.

5. Mini first aid kit

Your small first-aid kit should include such basic things as wet wipes, Hydrogen peroxide, a couple of plasters and some cotton pads.

6. Extra clothes

If you plan to be far away from home, take some clothes with you in your diaper bag. Examples are t-shirts, a warm blouse, pants, warm socks (and mittens if it is winter). By having these items on hand, you are prepared in case a short journey turns into an extended stay.

7. Toys

It does not matter if your child has the best toys in the world; they will be more interested in what other kids have or in what is happening in nature. Therefore, take something small and interesting that can easily fit in your bag. Toys will keep a kid occupied and calm him/her down in any situation.
