Celebrate Easter with kids by doing different awesome Easter crafts for preschoolers. Our little chick handcraft is an adorable Montessori-based craft for kids that they can do at home.
The arrival of a new member of the family will always cause great joy; however, this implies that many things change within the home.
Sometimes the most affected are older siblings, who are no longer the center of attention at home and begin to share that place with the new family member.
It is also a new process for parents, as they must learn to distribute their attention among their children.
This will not prevent jealousy from appearing and with it changes in children's behavior.
Sometimes, many start doing things that they had already overcome, such as talking like babies, asking for food, or annoying the younger sibling.
That is known as regressions, but little by little, children return to normality, and all of this is overcome.
However, although this is a normal process, parents must prepare their children for that little sibling's arrival.
They should discuss how things will be immediately when the baby arrives at home and in the future when they can share activities such as games.
A great way to help children in this adjustment process is to get them involved in activities where they feel that their input and participation are important.
An example might be choosing the clothes that the baby will wear or preparing the soap and cream.
Parents are also in the process of adaptation and learning. That is why it is important to keep the following in mind not to make mistakes that can hurt and negatively affect your children's lives.
Reinforce your child's good attitudes, do not make siblings comparison, the older sibling is not responsible for caring for the baby, and spend moments with them.
That way, children will understand that, although the routine and many things at home have changed, their parent's love for them has not changed.

- Conflict solution
- Following instructions
- An egg made with blue bond paper/construction paper (previously made)
- Three triangles made with yellow bond/construction paper and one in red (previously made)
- A little ball of Play-Doh in a container
- A thumbtack in the same container as the Play-Doh
- Glue in a container
- One black marker and a pink one
- A paintbrush
- A pencil
- A tray
Draw a zigzag line horizontally over the blue egg and cut it apart along the crooked line.
After having the egg cut in half in a zigzag, glue the ends with the thumbtack's help to give mobility to the egg's two parts and put the Play-Doh underneath on the tack's tip.
To avoid any accident, this step must be carried out by the adult. If you do not want to use Play-Doh, you can put tape; the important thing is that the tip is covered.
Draw some dots on the egg using the pink marker.
Glue two triangles on each side of the yellow circle creating the chick's wings and the orange triangle in the center of the circle forming the beak.
Glue the chick in the middle of the egg.
