Easy Craft Ideas for Kids, Learning Ear Hygiene and Care, Internalizing and Visualizing Sounds

Human beings perceive the world through the senses; During their life, all the cognitive processes start with the interaction of the environment with our touch, vision, taste, or hearing.

People who don’t stimulate their senses have issues during neural connection development. They also have trouble stimulating their cognitive capability. Therefore, we must constantly stimulate our brain, educate, and take care of our senses.

The ears are one of the most delicate sensory organs. For this reason, children should be educated about care and proper hygiene as essential tasks for the health of the ears. This activity must start from the moment we are born.

Our ears are sensitive, and we must clean them very carefully without introducing cotton swabs, water, or soap.

Otherwise, we can experience the opposite effect, such as an infection because part of the cotton might remain inside the ears. We do not have to worry about completely removing the wax, as this is also a body’s defense mechanism to prevent particles from getting in from the environment.

Additionally, instead of removing it, we could introduce more wax in the ear, which can become annoying. Our hygiene routine must be external to avoid future discomfort. However, cleaning is essential.

Did you know that the ears can be educated? And the more we educate our senses, the better our perception of reality will be. With the SOUND FESTIVAL, we are going to materialize sounds through art.

 Step 2:

On the sheet with the circles, use paint to color with different lines and shapes according to the respective container’s perceived sound. The main idea is that the sounds are different according to each container’s content. (Remember that these sounds can be loud, soft, slow, or fast.)
