Cut the cardboard horizontally into two pieces.

Place the cotton in each boat according to the number.

You can do this number activity with younger children. Usually, to lower the difficulty level and consider children’s ability, we can combine quantities and numbers with the same color. This way, children can place cotton into the boats according to the indications.
CHANGES FOR CHILDREN OLDER THAN 6
To do this thanksgiving number activity with older children, it is necessary to increase the difficulty level. At six, they can start doing maths so that they can first do a mathematical operation (addition or subtraction), and the result will be the cotton quantity to put into the boats.
