Today, we are going to talk about some kid’s favorite activity. It is cooking. I think cooking is one of the best ways to stimulate children’s senses because they touch, smell, taste, observe, and listen while cooking. Cooking together will strengthen family and affective bonds.

To children, the kitchen is a new world that allows them to develop their role as chefs. They can find textures and tools that they can use to innovate, explore, and learn. Please don’t say no when children want to help us in the kitchen. We can do it together, paying attention to what they are doing to avoid them get hurt.

When children interact with us in the kitchen like doing the worm food recipe, they get new real-life experiences. That is why we have to work with them to help them develop their skills. Even though we are focus on stimulating their senses, it is important to highlight that we can also teach them about counting, adding, weight, and fractions.
