30 Days Of Gratitude: Things To Be Grateful For

Dear Reader,

Hi, I am Me, the person who writes to you and hopes to help you see how much good you have in your life!

30 Days Of Gratitude: Things To Be Grateful For

How often does the thought “Everything’s a mess” pops up in your head? Probably, often enough to make you think that there is no light in your life.

How often do you catch yourself feeling down because of the aftermath of your decisions? Probably quite often if right now your cheeks are red from the thought of some situations.

30 Days of Gratitude: Things to be Grateful For

How often do you say, “I wish I was/ had…”? Probably enough to make you feel unworthy and unable to reach your dreams.

How often did you look in the mirror and felt dissatisfied or even disgusted? Probably, often enough to make you feel as if you were not already perfect in yourself.

My dear Reader, I have been there and have done that. Of course, there is more to the story for each of us, but I think I might have a solution!

We often need someone to talk to but get uncomfortable with voicing our opinion on some aspects, even when talking about ourselves. Besides, we have forgotten how important and therapeutic it is to write letters. Why don’t we combine both and make the best out of the two?

People are prompt to see bad in themselves first. Why? Because bad is like a red wine stain on a white dress – hard not to notice. Therefore, I suggest you did the next thing:

  1. Begin each letter with “Dear, (your name)”
  2. Below, there will be 30 topics for each letter you will have to write (one each day)
  3. Try to be objective and aim at looking at your “drawbacks” as advantages. Try to look at things from another perspective, and don’t be afraid to pour your heart out on the paper.
  4. End the letter with good wishes.
  5. Sign the letter with “Love, (your name)”
  6. Don’t forget to put the date and maybe quote of the day (only if you feel like it)

Sounds weird? It might. However, strange is new stock, so get used to it.

Each letter’s topics will revolt around gratitude and find things and qualities you are lucky enough to possess.

Therefore, my dear Friend, I advise you to arm yourself with patience, spend these 30 days of gratitude with writing letters on each of the topics, and finally understand how lucky you are and that are are so many things to be grateful for. Enjoy!

Love, Me.
